Halogen-free intumescent flame retardant BZ-FR1913
BZ-FR1913 is a halogen-free intumescent flame retardant specifically designed for polypropylene (PP), polyethylene (PE), and thermoplastic vulcanizates (TPV). It primarily uses phosphorus and nitrogen as the main flame-retardant elements (the system does not contain APP). The flame retardancy is achieved through char formation and intumescence. BZ-FR1913 complies with RoHS and REACH regulations, offering high flame-retardant efficiency, excellent thermal stability, no migration, good water resistance, light aging resistance, and low smoke and non-toxic properties.
Application Notes
Glass Fiber Reinforced PP: BZ-FR1913 is particularly well-suited for glass fiber reinforced polypropylene (PP). Adding 20% of BZ-FR1913 can achieve UL 94 V-0 (0.8mm) flame retardancy, making it an ideal choice for applications requiring high flame resistance and mechanical strength.
